Fuel Mix and Emissions Disclosure Statement

Power plants can generate electricity from a number of different fuel sources, resulting in different emissions. WGES discloses fuel mix and emissions information to customers twice annually in Maryland and Washington D.C.  WGES discloses fuel mix information quarterly to customers in Delaware. These disclosures allow customers to compare data among the companies providing electricity service to the region (represented by the regional transmission organization known as "PJM").  WGES-specific emissions and energy source (fuel mix) data may vary from these averages.
